As you might expect with the start of conference play, a ton of changes in this bracket update, even since Tuesday!
Two changes in the at-large lineup: Belmont and Temple both lost their conference openers and are out. Belmont’s chances of an at-large bid probably evaporated entirely, having lost to an OVC team not named Murray State. Temple’s loss in Orlando against UCF was not shameful, but they drop into the First Four Out.
The two teams moving in to replace them are Purdue, (definitely the best 5-loss team in the country, big win over Iowa last night) and Toledo (hasn’t actually played this week, but jumps in to fill the void).
We’ve also got 3 new AQ bid recipients. Murray State is now projected to win the OVC instead of Austin Peay (wow, lot of OVC-related movement this week), Wagner replaces Fairleigh Dickinson as Northeast Conference champs, and Loyola replaces Drake as projected Missouri Valley champs.
Fully arranged bracket:
One minor fix has to be made to translate the above seed list into a viable bracket – Creighton was elevated to a #9 seed, dropping Purdue to a #10. Because there were two #8 seeds and two #9 seeds from the Big Ten, there was no way to keep all of them separated from #1 seed Michigan. Swapping out Purdue resolves that issue.
Last Four Byes: NC State, Alabama, Louisville, Syracuse
Last Four In: Toledo, Arizona State, Clemson, Iowa

Next Four Out: Butler, College of Charleston, Ole Miss, Missouri
