BracketBot was originally developed by Zach Nahlik during the 2013-14 NCAA basketball season, as his attempt to try to rank teams mathematically. For quite some time, BracketBot didn't put together brackets at all, but after a few years of curiosity, that functionality was added. In addition to Bracketology, BracketBot is able to simulate the rest of the current season, calculate the odds of a particular team winning it all, and a number of other functions.
Zach Nahlik is a native of Glen Carbon, Illinois and a proud alumnus of Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, from which he graduated in 2012 with a degree in mathematics. Go Devils!
